Film poster anaylsis - A Clockwork Orange

This film poster is really simple, as it just contains an illustrated image of the main character on a orange background. However the main character is holding both baton and a knife. These symbolise violence and from this I can infer that the film will contain violence. Also the poster contains the R age rating (an American age rating). Rated R  means Restricted and children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or "guardian" (i.e., supervised by an adult). This enforces my idea that there will violence, and properly very graphic violence. The writing is like that that would be found in a comic book, suggesting that the film is quite childish in nature.
