SoundA film containing aspects that are in relation to a Sci-Fi film usually have sound effects and music that would match the tone of the atmosphere they are in; usually consisting of high sounds that could create a modern, futuristic, intergalactic setting. However the sound can also depend on the sub genre of the film, as many Sci- Fi films have a variety of musical qualities, e.g Star Wars theme tune is a deep sound with a echoed tone to create the idea of them being in space, whereas many alien films may have many high pitched noises to create a different atmosphere.

An example of a sci-fi film and matching the standards of Todorov's narrative structure is Star Wars.
